Year 4 Weekly Highlights 8.5.26
What a week it has been! So many brilliant things going on!
Science - we are learning about digestion and used crackers, plastic bags and vinegar to create representational models of the stomach!
Maths - we are learning about symmetry which proved useful in our Power Down day today!
English - planning for our comic strips explaining the journey of our food through our digestive systems is well underway!
Power Down Day was a HUGE success! Massive thanks to Mrs Bullock for planning and organising such a special day for us all.
Mandalas - trying to use our symmetry skills alongside our imaginations and creativity.
Tree faces - so much creativity and fun - a real favourite with the children.
Gardening- we planted tomatoes which we hopefully will be able to harvest later on.
Clay critters - I wonder what you'll find hiding in our ground next time you visit!?
Stick people 'with clothes' and landmark modelling in the loose parts play area.
David Attenborough's 'Life of Birds' themed sculpture making
Please do take a look at the photos as they say much more than we could possibly write here. So many smiles, so many excellent working together skills, so much more - take a look for yourselves!
