Year 4 have had another busy week! 

Multi - skills in Pe have been developing and this week, Birch class were practising keeping the ball under control using their football skills. Class experts were able to brilliantly model to their peers how to kick the ball using their instep rather than their toes.

We have been learning how to multiply 3 numbers in maths and use this to also find factor pairs. The children have done some brilliant work with counters, drawing factor bugs and then trying to apply this knowledge to work out trickier calculations.

It was lovely to see so many families join us for Carols Round the Tree on Wednesday - I'm sure we all agree it was lovely hearing the choir sing and we hope you enjoyed joining in with your children too - as well as the hot choclate and cakes that were on sale as part of Year 6's fundraising!

Next week is the final week of term.  Be kind to yourselves  - and each other - in these last few days where we are all feeling in need of a rest!
