What an excellent week we have had in Year 3!

In maths, we have continued to expand our knowledge on addition and subtraction. We have focused on using mental methods to solve calculations. The children have worked super hard to perfect their number lines to support them in working out the calculations. In Times Tables Rock Stars, we have been learning our 2 times tables. Please keep using the TTRS website to practise your times tables at home - if you have misplaced your login details, please talk to your child's class teacher who can reprint them!

In English, we had a really exciting challenge set by Adam Sparks of Sparks Ellison, Chandler's Ford. Mr Sparks has set the challenge for Year 3 to create an exciting and informative flyer. 24 children across Year 3 will have their flyer proudly displayed in the window of Sparks Ellison for a week!

Please keep reading with your child at least 3 times a week and recording it in their reading records. We check reading records every Thursday.
