Year 3 Weekly Highlights
Another half-term completed! The children have worked so hard and we are incredibly proud of them. It was wonderful to see so many of you at parents evening this week. We hope you found it useful and informative.
Following this, we thought it would be useful to send across some useful links to websites you could use at home to help. I have also attached the details about our Handwriting style and writing in cursive font.

If you have any questions or would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
In writing, we have finished our unit on the text ‘diary of a killer cat’. The children wrote from the perspective of a different pet from the writing they did last week. They also looked at and wrote their own Kenning poems. In maths, we have consolidated some work on addition and subtraction as well as completed our end of unit assessment on mass and capacity.
Our geography and DT units have also come to an end - they have all done so well with both their enquiry and creativity skills in these units. We think you will agree that the children have really worked hard to create their tool belts using their sewing skills - some are even better at sewing than us!
We hope you all have a well deserved and happy Easter Holidays and we look forward to seeing you all back for the Summer Term.
