Year 3 Weekly Highlights 28.4.23

We have had the most fantastic day at Hilliers. Thank you to Miss Downer for arranging the details in school and to all the parent helpers who were kind enough to come with us - we hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. A particular highlight of the day for me, was watching the children dissecting daffodils in the gardens looking for the different plants. We were able to take photographs through a magnifying glass in the hope that you can see them too!

In English, we have been working on using description within our writing, including fronted adverbials. In maths, we have worked incredibly hard and finished off our fractions unit - the children have shown wonderful ambition and we are so proud of them for overcoming some tricky questions. In science, we have finished our learning on Solids, Liquids and Gasses. Next week we move on to Money!

We are really proud of our art, and have taken a few photos where we have used some chalks to create the Iron Man.

Wishing you a lovely weekend.
