This has been an exciting week with our new history topic on the Egyptians being launched by our 'Play in A Day' experience. It was wonderful to see the creativity of all the different costumes - thank you to anybody who supported with this.  After morning rehearsals, Year 4 produced a fantastic play that was both entertaining and informative. What a great start to the topic!

In other news, we have now started our Time topic in maths. We know this can be challenging for some children, with analogue clocks perhaps being less common than they once were, so would like to reiterate our request for help from home to support the children with learning to tell the time on an analogue clock to the nearest minute. We will pop some resources on Google Classroom that the children can use to practise this at home. 

It was a pleasure to see so many of you in school on Friday afternoon for our Pre Party Coronation Celebrations. A particular well done to all those who joined in the dancing so enthusiastically! We hope you enjoyed the afternoon and have a wonderful long weekend.
