Year 4 Weekly Highlights 15.12.23
It's been an action packed final week! In English, the children have been finishing off and becutifully presenting their information page about a dragon and we have enjoyed seeing their creativity. In maths, we have been learning about length, including kilometres and perimeter. If you enjoy any festive walking over the holidays, perhaps you and your child can investigate how many kilometres you have done!
This week also saw our final street dance session in which the children wowed us with their ability to perform a complex dance routine. There are definitely some natural dancers within the year group! We also enjoyed our Winter Sports event this week. This was an opportunity for the children to demonstrate not only their sporting ability, but also the community values, particularly resilience, respect and kindness. The way they encouraged and supported each other was great to see. Finally, we had our amazing Santa Dash event this morning. The joy on the children's faces at seeing the 'snow' was wonderful to see!
The children have come such a long way in their first term in Year 4 and we are very proud of them. We wish you all a restful holiday and look forward to seeing you in the new year.
Best Wishes,
The Year 4 team.
