This week has been full of determination and ambition from the year whilst we've been learning long multiplication and today started short division. This brand-new learning has been tricky but we have all got there in the end, now showing excellent understanding. 

Year 5 were very intrigued to discover our new book that we will be looking at for the remainder of the half term - Spider and the fly. We started the week exploring the new setting and then moved onto what the characters 'Spider' and 'Fly' are like. This is been thoroughly enjoyed so far and we look forward to writing as the spider next week. 
 

Next week look forward to starting our History topic - the Vikings.
