What a 'foolish' way to start the day!

Teachers : 'Morning Year 5! Have you looked outside yet? You'll never guess what, it's snowing outside!!!'

Children: 'WHAT! No way!!!' whilst running to the window.

Teachers giggling in the corridors 'APRIL FOOLS!!'

 

The teachers today had so much fun with April Fools, starting with an early morning prank with the weather as we woke them up for breakfast. Later that morning, we told them there was an extra prize for room inspections, not just the first for breakfast. As we revealed the winners we told them we also had chocolate "brownies". In fact when we opened it, they were "brown- es" Year 5 were determined to get as back 😂

 

The sun came out again for us with another beautiful day. We had more activities from trapeze to orienteering to climbing to zip wire. The children are loving it here. Some quotes from the children:

Jeevan - Zipwire was my favourite because we could jump off and was thrilling

Ariyana - Canoeing was really fun because the staff were lovely and was a lovely morning.

Zayn - I've loved the repeat after me songs on the way to our activities. Abseiling was fun because it was scary too
