What an incredible week this has been in year 6!

We have learnt about parenthesis in English and started to write our own fictional magical creature report based on our design. We’ve enjoyed the creative freedom that the work has given us to write.We started writing our non-fictional report. Surprisingly we are writing the introduction last and habitat first. 

This week in Reading, we started to read the rest of the viewer and found it a very eerie book and learnt about how mood is conveyed through pictures and words.

In Maths we learnt about problem-solving, subtracting and adding decimals throughout the task sheet and even harder questions to solve.

Science this week has been the most fun because we got to conduct an experiment which we tested if light travels through different materials either Transparent, translucent or opaque.

House captains got to do school tours, which was a great opportunity.
