Year 6 has been a great last week of this term before Christmas!

On Thursday we had an amazing winter sports day when all the children got to choose between 3 different sports Dodgeball, Bench Ball and Basketball. The year 6 sport leaders did an amazing job on counting all the points for the houses ( Hawking, Anning, Franklin and Attenborough.) This week we have been doing all the Mock SATS- reading, reasoning 1,reasoning 2 , Arithmetic, Spelling, grammar (SPAG) . It definitely wasn't as hard as we thought it would be,

We also have finished reading the giant's necklace unit in reading. We have no idea what book we will look at next. In English, we have been writing a sight of application telling the country that the poor should be treated better by the wealthy with a letter. We all can not wait for the Christmas holidays!!!

What a fantastic first term Year 6 have had. We can't wait for the spring term and really look forward to the residential 2nd week back.
