Wednesday - 11/1/23

We all had a great journey and all the children have settled into their rooms - very pleased with their rooms. They were shocked they had to make their beds, but they all did it and are ready to do it when they return home- no excuses for them now!

This afternoon, the children have taken part in team-building exercises which included ordering themselves, with different themes, on thin planks; transporting 'grenades' to bunkers and many more. During the other half of the afternoon, the year group had the opportunity to go inside a trench. This was a fascinating experience for the children, who commented on how scary it would have been for all of these soldiers.  The children had the opportunity to venture over the top and into no-man's land.

Tonight we have finished with a fabulous dinner - you can see the amazing set up we had for dinner. The children were very impressed, all children wanting seconds! We are just finishing up before bed with an indoor 'campfire'  with lots of singing and dancing.
