In year 6 this week, 

We have learnt about coordinates and how to plot shapes across four quadrants. Also, we learnt how to translate shapes onto different points using directions and we learnt about symmetry. We've been busy!

In English, we have been writing as Everest and how would we feel when climbers come to visit and hike on us all the time. We generated figurative language and we revised what passive voice so that we could include it in our writing.

This week in science moved onto our new subject of body and circulation. On Thursday we made a mind map about what we already know and  we also answered some questions based on what we learnt in the previous years. On our first lesson we learnt what blood does and we also touched on the different blood cells and what role they play .
