We are delighted to offer school tours for families whose children will be starting Year 3 in September 2026. These guided visits provide an excellent opportunity to see our learning environment in action, meet our dedicated team, and ask any questions.

Following our information evening last week, we are pleased to share the presentation slides and social stories for you to refer to as you need over the summer holidays- attached below.

We would also like to confirm that the children will not need to come into school in their PE kits on our first day back (Friday 5th September). The PE days will begin on Monday 8th September.

We wish you a lovely summer break and look forward to officially welcoming Year 3 in September.

We know you will be excited to join us in Year 3 but we also know that you might be feeling a little nervous too, ahead of your start in September. We hope this page will help you find out a little more about life at Hiltingbury Junior School and ease any worries.

Another important member of the Hiltingbury Team is Hugo, our school dog.

Hugo is our school therapy dog and loves nothing more than to join a class in the library and to welcome you into school in the mornings.
