We recognise that many of our parents need reliable and flexible wrap around care for their child at either end of the school day.  We are proud of the provision we offer our families.  We provide outstanding care for each child and offer an amazing range of activities suitable for everyone.  

Our children absolutely love spending time outside where they play football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, as well as group games. During the summer period the children of after school club adore making slime, play dough , lava lamps, spinning balls, paper aeroplanes and so much more which involves their hands.

When it comes to indoor activities, they can still have a lot of fun such as playing computer games, creating designs out of wooden blocks, LEGO, table tennis, chess, board games , toys (dolls/cars), fancy dress costumes for children to play their favourite characters. They also have access to a variation of different beads to make their own necklaces and hammer beads which they like to work with by creating some exciting things. Every day we have an art and craft plan in place which works brilliantly for children’s creations both individually and in group. They put so much effort every single time by using their imagination and are extremely proud of what they achieve at the after school club.  We know that our pupils love art which involves food; therefore, we have occasional days when they decorate biscuits, cup cakes, fruit kebabs, etc.      

Finally, we are super excited and lucky to have an opportunity to be able to use the hall computer and sound system for watching films, dancing and singing karaoke which is the children’s best-loved activity to lift their moods after a long school day.

 

All staff are employed by the School and have suitable qualifications and / or experience in play work/childcare.  Key staff members also hold First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates.
